PLAYS OF WILTON
2nd ANNUAL GIVING TUESDAY TELETHON & FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
This December 3, 2024, Plays of Wilton (POW!) invites you to be part of something extraordinary! As one of South Florida’s leading LGBTQ+ theaters, POW! is dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ+ artists and their stories, creating groundbreaking productions, and fostering community through the arts.
They are thrilled to present the 2nd Annual Giving Tuesday Telethon, a joyful, nostalgic nod to the classic marathon charity telethons of the past. From 1 PM to 6 PM at The Foundry Theater (2306 N Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors), they will host a vibrant event filled with live performances, light refreshments, and a chance to make a difference. There will be a live volunteer phone bank to accept donations, a fundraising thermometer to track the fundraising goal and many more surprises! Can’t make it in person? No problem! Tune in to the YouTube livestream and join the celebration from wherever you are.
Your Support Matters
Every dollar raised helps POW! continue producing bold, innovative live theater year-round, supporting LGBTQ+ artists and creating space for vital stories to be told. Last year, your generosity raised over $100,000 to keep the mission alive. Let’s do it again this year and go even further!
Since its inception in 2000, POW! has created and produced over 10 world premieres, brought Ronnie Larsen’s family comedy, The Actors, to New York City for an Off-Broadway production and proudly continues to produce live theater twelve months per year, enriching South Florida’s cultural landscape and providing vital opportunities for LGBTQ+ artists and audiences alike.
