Capital One café is happy to invite the Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT chamber members to our quarterly Coffee with the Community event with Fort Lauderdale Police Department on February 25th from 12pm - 2pm! This event gives the community an opportunity for real conversations about issues that matter in a distraction-free format. We promote a casual atmosphere, a.k.a no speeches and no agenda, so you can mingle, grab a coffee and have opportunities to walk up to the commissioner of the city, or the officer of your neighborhood and have your voice heard without jumping through hoops. This is also a great way to find out what's new and what's changed in your city, initiatives to improve safety in your area, or learning a hotline number to bring an officer out to walk you to your car.
